Janet Chinenye Eze is a Nigerian-born author, UK-based nurse, and founder of the ADOPT Initiative a nonprofit organization committed to uplifting young people from less privileged backgrounds, especially those in correctional centres and underserved communities. Through mentorship, education, storytelling, and emotional empowerment, she is on a mission to help a generation rediscover their voice, identity, and purpose.
She is passionate about creating spaces where people especially the youth feel seen, heard, and free to express their truth without fear or shame. Deeply aware of how emotional silence, cultural pressure, and limited exposure can stifle self-worth, Janet is committed to building a generation that walks in confidence, clarity, and purpose.
Her passion also stems from witnessing how these hidden battles the ones behind closed doors shape people in silence. She believes in creating safe spaces for growth, where individuals are encouraged to heal, express, and rise beyond their circumstances.
Janet is the author of The Kayan of the Matter and Nnenna two emotionally stirring novels that explore identity, womanhood, trauma, and the quiet strength required to overcome. Through her writing, Janet offers more than entertainment she offers connection, courage, and healing.
As a compassionate healthcare professional and social advocate, she believes storytelling and empathy can spark powerful change. Whether through fiction, nursing, or grassroots impact, her purpose remains the same: to restore dignity, amplify the unheard, and remind people that their story is not finished.
Fun facts: Janet finds joy in quiet moments journaling by candlelight, surfing the internet for inspiration, A gentle introvert with a bold vision, she finds creativity in stillness and purpose in meaningful connection.
